South Dayton Pediatrics has partnered with BioTek Services to offer allergy testing and treatment in our office. We have openings starting 5/7/2024.
 
  • Ages 2 & older
  • No history of severe asthma, anaphylaxis or autoimmune diseases
  • Testing is for the top 58 airborne allergens (molds, pollens, pet dander, grasses, etc.)
  • They do NOT test for foods, venoms, or medications
  • Test typically takes 15-20 minutes, including results
  • Can test patients on the same day as their office visit
  • Off antihistamines for 48 hours prior to any testing
  • Only FDA-approved treatment that actually treats the underlying disease as opposed to masking symptoms
