We schedule our appointments so that each patient receives the right amount of time to be seen by our providers and staff. That's why it is very important you keep your scheduled appointment with us and arrive on time.
South Dayton Pediatrics asks that our patients arrive 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time. This allows enough time for the check-in process to be completed before the actual appointment time.
As a courtesy, we allow our patients to arrive up to 10 minutes past the appointment time for unexpected delays. If a patient arrives 10 minutes past their appointment time, South Dayton Pediatrics may ask the family to reschedule or be seen by a different provider. If there are no other appointments available that same day, the patient will be rescheduled for the next available date that works for both us and the family. This process will ensure patients that do arrive on time are seen in a timely manner.
In order to help patients remember their scheduled appointments, South Dayton Pediatrics sends text messages and email reminders in advance of the appointment time. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact us so we may reschedule you.
We ask that our families give us at least a 2-hour notice for any cancelation or reschedule.
If you do not cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least a 2-hour notice, the appointment will be marked as a "no-show" and we may assess a $50 "no-show" service charge to your account.
This "no-show" is not reimbursable by your insurance company. You will be billed directly for it.
