Alysse Waid, APRN

Originally from Kentucky, Alysse moved to Ohio to pursue her nursing education. She attended Simmons University where she graduated as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Alysse attended graduate school at Mt. St. Joseph where she earned a Master of Science Degree in Nursing.

While in graduate school, Alysse worked as an ER nurse in Cincinnati area hospitals.

Alysse chose pediatrics after she witnessed her close family members experience a life-changing outcome due, in no small part, to excellent nursing care for their newborn.

Alysse takes special interest in helping families navigate mental health and behavior issues for their children. She fosters open communication so families can freely discuss the challenges they are facing in a non-judgmental environment.

When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her four boys and husband.
