Allergy Testing & Treatment

In cooperation with Biotek Services, South Dayton Pediatrics offers allergy testing and treatment.

At South Dayton Pediatrics, we understand that allergies are a leading contributor to childhood illnesses. Some studies estimate that allergy-related illnesses cause close to 2 million missed days of school per year. That's one reason why we partnered with Biotek Services to bring allergy testing and treatment in-house.

We are able to test for and treat a wide range of airborne allergens specific to the Dayton region. When treating allergies, it is imperative to test for local allergens as flora and fauna differ from location to location.

For those patients requiring allergy shots, we offer in-office injections as well as Biotek Services "self-administering" option.

Biotek Services Offers Airborne Immunotherapy

Biotek Services has developed an immunotherapy treatment protocol for those suffering from airborne allergies. Unlike traditional allergy treatments, Biotek's protocol allows patients to "self-administer" injections every other day with a small needle that is injected just beneath the skin.
